sede6.jpgAccademia Europea in Florence is a cultural association founded in 1992 to promote the European dimension of learning for an employment policy directed towards an international framework and it is an accredited training agency within the fields of guidance and vocational training.

In particular, Accademia Europea wants to answer the need of improvement of the employability for the youth and the adults in Europe, by promoting the research and the innovation of:

  • Training courses and learning processes in formal and non formal frameworks

  • Guidance activities

  • Work placements in Italy and abroad

  • Planning and management of vocational training routes

  • Integration or reinstatement processes of the unemployed into the job market, also through the use of new technologies

  • Provisions and training credits with the relative acknowledgement at European level



THE AREAS OF ACTIVITY

sede1.jpgAccademia Europea in Florence promotes and manages, on it’s own or on behalf of other bodies, the following activities:

  • Guidance and vocational training courses

  • Work placements in national and international firms

  • Language training courses for Italians and foreigners

  • Non formal training courses for young people, social workers and teachers on intercultural learning and human rights education.

  • Support to self-entrepreneurship

  • Final and financial reports of national and European projects in the frame of European funds

  • Activities regarding research and experimentation of new training systems, credit acknowledgement and professional qualification

  • Activities of action-research



WHO CAN TURN TO ACCADEMIA EUROPEA

  • Youths or adults who want to develop professional, linguistic, social and transversal skills in order to improve their possibility of employment

  • Trainers, teachers and social workers interested in projects and training activities regarding intercultural learning and human rights education in formal and non formal frameworks

  • Public Bodies, interested in carrying out projects and activities in the field of training, youth and work policies.

  • Other associations, schools, profit or no profit organizations involved in planning and management of activities within the European Social Fund, Leonardo da Vinci, Youth Programme and other European initiatives.

OUR PARTNERSHIPS

The international dimension of the association makes possible the planning and management of european initiatives, international internships, visits, meetings and intercultural exchanges, periods of studies and research, consultancy together with relevant european organisations and international experts.


ACCREDITATIONS

Since 1997 AEF has organised its activity based on ISO 9001 rules, Total Quality Management (TQM) principles and European Foundation of Quality Management (EFQM).

Since 2003  it is accreditated at Regione Toscana as vocational training and guidance center.

Since 2005 it is certified as UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

THE WORKING TEAM

To manage its activities, AEF cooperate with tutors and guidance counselors, psycologists, consultants, project managers, project planners and more than thirty trainers, beyond a staff for administration and secretary.
